It’s officially our 5th birthday! Rescue Plumbing has successfully provided reliable plumbing repairs and services to the Chicagoland area for 5 years now. It feels like just yesterday when we hired our first licensed plumbers, bought our first truck, put on our rescue capes, and began saving neighborhoods from all of their plumbing issues. We cannot thank our customers, employees, and partners enough for their contributions to our success.
As we reflect on the past 5 years, we are reminded of our humble beginnings and how far we have come. From a small team of passionate licensed plumbers to a reputable company with a loyal customer base, it’s been an incredible journey. During our five years of handling any plumbing emergency or minor repairs thrown our way, like a broken sump pump or frozen pipes, we’ve managed to achieve many things. For one, we’ve expanded our team and now have more specialized local plumbers ready to provide emergency plumbing services to the community.
Collaborating with local businesses has played a vital role in meeting plumbing needs and fueling our growth as a Chicago plumbing company. We deeply appreciate the support we’ve received.

We bought a security camera system to make sure our workers commuting to and from work feel safe.
We provide health insurance for all our Rescue Plumbers, ensuring that they are well taken care of in case of any accidents working with plumbing systems on the job.
We bought uniforms to proudly represent our company and our brand, flashing our snazzy jackets for all to see.
And most importantly, your contributions have allowed us to give back to the community. With your support, we’re able to come to the rescue whenever that Rescue-Signal glows with distress in the night sky (the city should really invest in that).
The power of people dictates the future of any small business, especially in the startup phase. According to statistics from Luisa Zhou, a business coach and blogger, nine out of ten startups fail while all businesses have a 70% failure rate. These statistics alone speak to how almost impossible it is to a) start a business and b) keep it afloat.
However, reflecting on our success makes us realize something. It was never us coming to the rescue, it was the community rescuing us all along. Chicagoland’s community took Rescue Plumbing under their wing and shielded us from these daunting statistics.
The fact that our customers, our community, chose us to be that one in ten to survive is something we can’t thank you enough for.

Rescue Plumbing opened in Lincoln Park Chicago with only three plumbers and one office manager.

Opened 2 additional locations and expanded our services to the surrounding suburbs!

Rex the Excavator
Invested in an excavator to allow our plumbers to efficiently work on sewer repair jobs!

Rescue Plumbing partnered with Rescue Marketing to improve marketing efforts while also opening a total of 4 additional locations.

Today, we have 9 incredible office staff members, 9 hardworking plumbers, 9 apprentice plumbers, and 2 excavation specialists! We were also named a 2023 Nextdoor’s Neighborhood Fave!
